How Sponsorship Works
Sponsorship is simple: one decision, lifetime connection.
1) Choose a Class
Each class includes every foal born that year. When you sponsor a class, you’re part of the journey for every horse in it.
Your sponsorship cost is based on the class’s current stage of life. No matter when you join, you’ll always receive the same lifetime benefits — the only difference is when you became part of their story.
🌱 Pre-Foaling — $50
From conception until the first foal of the class is born.🍼 Foaling Year — $100
From their birth through December 31 of that year.🐴 Yearling Year — $150
From January 1 through December 31 of their yearling year.🌟 Two-Year-Old & Beyond — $450
From January 1 of their two-year-old year and throughout their lives.

First-in-line for lifetime free leases (class-first, then all sponsors, then accredited orgs, then public—if needed).
Priority Placement: If a horse from your sponsored class retires and is made available for a new home, class sponsors receive first opportunity to apply for a lifetime free lease. If no class sponsor is the right fit, we invite all Foal to Forever sponsors, and simultaneously inquire with accredited non-profits, before any public posting.

The purpose isn’t to “own” the horse — it’s to create lifelong engagement. Sponsors become fans who follow a horse’s journey for decades, helping ensure each horse has a community invested in their story and making it easier to keep them visible and traceable from foal to forever.

Pricing depends on when you join:
Foal/Weanling/Yearling tiers are less expensive for early supporters
Forever tier (from two-year-old year onward) is $450
All tiers include the same lifetime benefits — early supporters simply join at a lower rate.

If a horse transitions to an accredited non-profit, we may no longer provide direct updates — but we only work with organizations that require ongoing reporting and follow-up. Sponsors will always know where the horse is and will be directed to continue following through that organization.

You’ll receive milestone updates by email — typically around key life stages (foaling, training, first race, retirement, new career). Major transitions like injuries, foal births, or rehomings are always included. We balance meaningful updates with not overwhelming your inbox.
