Why We Support The Jockey Club’s 2026 Registration Fee Increase
The Jockey Club’s 2026 fee increase has sparked debate—but the real question isn’t cost. It’s accountability. Could American Pharoah Be the Next Sunday Silence?
American Pharoah’s 2025 numbers tell a clear story: 77% of his foals make the track, nearly half win, and their average earnings rival Justify’s — all for one-fifth the stud fee. Yet his yearlings sell for less than half as much. His move to Japan for 2026 could finally give him the recognition—and opportunity—he deserves, much like Sunday Silence before him.
Dynamics, Not Dominance: Why the 'Alpha' Approach Fails Our Horses

Open Letter to the Thoroughbred Industry: From Money to Meaning
Every September, headlines from the Keeneland sale celebrate record prices and million-dollar yearlings.
