Vote to Name the Class of 2026 Fillies
The submissions are officially in.
Over the past two weeks, Foal to Forever members and followers submitted names for the two newest fillies at Horse Husband Stables. After reviewing submissions, checking character limits, and screening for Jockey Club eligibility and availability, the final voting list is ready.
Now it’s time for the Class of 2026 members to help decide what names these fillies will carry for the rest of their lives.
These names will become:
• race calls
• pedigree records
• social media identities
• and part of their permanent story within the Foal to Forever program

Official Horse Husband Stables Submissions
Lady Greyswan
Lady Dyanaformer’s Filly (by Knicks Go)
This name evolved from several overlapping ideas that slowly came together into one story.
The foundation was simple: she is the first gray horse ever raised by Horse Husband Stables.
Originally, the idea was simply “the gray one” out in the field. From there, the name evolved into something more elegant and symbolic.
The “Lady” portion continues the established maternal naming tradition within this family:
• Lady Macjazz
• Lady Dyanaformer
• Lord Paycasso
• Lady Calliope
The “Grey” spelling was intentionally chosen over “Gray” because it felt slightly softer, more European, and more refined.
As the name evolved, the swan imagery began to fit her story perfectly:
• the contrast between black swan and white swan
• her mix of sweet and mischievous personality traits
• and the “ugly duckling to swan” transformation after being born with contracted tendons and needing early leg support.
The name also carries a subtle nod to Norse mythology through Kára, a Valkyrie associated with swan shapeshifting, feminine power, and protection in battle.
Potential barn names considered:
• Kara
• Grace
• Swan

Miavanti
My Audubon’s Filly (by Zandon)
This name grew out of several overlapping ideas connected to Audi, performance vehicles, forward movement, and Italian-inspired language.
The starting point was Audi’s high-performance Avant vehicle line, particularly the RS6 Avant.
Because this filly is Audi’s sixth foal overall, the “Avant” concept immediately stood out.
From there, the idea evolved through several stages:
• “My Avant”
• “Mia Avant”
• and eventually “Miavanti”
The final version intentionally leans into an Italian feel.
That worked especially well because:
• “Mia” serves as a feminine Italian reference
• “Avanti” in Italian means “forward” or “ahead”
• the name carries movement and momentum
• and Zandon’s surname structure likely traces back to Italian linguistic origins
The final result blends:
• My Audubon
• Audi Avant performance references
• Italian-inspired language
• and the filly’s bold, forward-moving personality
Potential barn name:
• Mia
